The Suns finally rise to the challenge!

The Morning Squad

--

Hey morning squad,

Last night was eventful. It started off as a close battle between the Suns and the Clippers.

In the end, the Suns pull out the 27 point win and…

1)Jae Crowder goes to back-to-back NBA Finals…🤣

In all seriousness, Chris Paul gets to the 1st NBA finals of his 16-year career.

And he did it in style. Closeout game, in LA, he goes for 41 pts 8 assists.

Of course, those 41 came with all the flops, dramatics, and petty stuff Chris is known for.

It was so good he finally made Pat Beverly snap.

Whenever he is done lacing them up, he’s going to make one hell of an actor…(more to come with that one)

Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton did their part. Booker dropped 23 & 7 Reb . Ayton with 19 pts & 17 Rebs👀👀👀. Jae Crowder was also lights out from 3, making 5 of them.

But really it boils down to the Clippers came out flat in the second half. Paul George, for all his credit…only made 6 FG’s.

Some would say he regressed back to his regular closeout game averages.

But I’m not going to do that today.

Paul George played an insane 776 minutes these playoffs! The next closest player on his team was Reggie Jackson with 622 minutes.

To put it in perspective, Paul George played the equivalent of 3 more full games of basketball than anyone else on his team.

The man was carrying the whole Clippers team to victories.

Today we collectively, leave PG out of the storylines…his journey of playoff slander ends this year.

And the Sun rises on this young Phoenix squad.

As the team rushed to the floor after the victory, I had to ask…

Who the heck doesn’t Chris Paul know??!…

Before CP3 even hugged his family members I saw Lil Wayne…

Then Chris Paul runs to the stands and gives a hug to Billy Crystal….

I’ve heard he‘s also mentored by former Disney CEO Bob Iger.

CP3 has access to all the Hollywood types, business moguls, musicians, execs….

I know he’s plotting for an amazing second career.

In the meantime.. he’s off to chase his first ring. Cementing his hall of fame career.

Now to see who represents the Eastern Conference.

Oh, and Devin Booker got hit in the nose again!

That’s it.

Have a great Thursday everyone!
